Hello!
I'm the founder & teacher of a private music school in Italy, I need to upgrade my perpetual Pro Tools license, and I'm trying to understand wether I'm eligible for educational discounts or not. The main issue is that I'm self employed, so I don't know if I can provide a sufficient proof of eligibility. On the general eligibility guidelines I read that teachers that work for "for-profit career/vocational schools that grant degrees and/or certificates" should be eligible, if they're able to provide a regular paycheck or employment letter. I can provide customer invoices or contracts, professional email address, written declaration of any kind... would these be accepted as a valid proof? I need to know before purchasing of course, I don't want to waste money... any help is much appreciated, thanks!! |

Best to start up a support case with the Avid Webstore team on this.
You can create one at https://avidtech.my.site.com/avidsup...e-support-page

Your eligibility would need to be approved by proxy-ID who handles our Educational verification. For homeschool or private teachers—Teachers as defined by local homeschooling regulations detailed on this HSLDA State Laws webpage https://hslda.org/legal Students and educators who wish to purchase at discounted education pricing will be asked to provide proof of eligibility after making a purchase. Once your eligibility has been verified, you will receive your academic license for your software. Homeschooler private teachers or students—You must show evidence of status as a teacher by providing one of the following: A current copy of a Homeschool Membership Association card A current copy of a curriculum receipt Any official documentation issued by the local/state government that recognizes your family’s intent to homeschool or offer private lessons HTH and you can also email me directly.
