combining multiple sessions
Hey all--
I have to pull elements from multiple sessions to create one "master" session of a project. They all have the same track names (bass, guitar, guiro) and same plug-ins used for each session. What's the easiest way to consolidate all this stuff? The slow-but-reliable way seems to be to rename all tracks (bass 2, bass 3, so they don't copy over the original "bass"), and import the tracks; then copy them in place to the original track. Any better ideas? dopplah |

Re: combining multiple sessions
It will automatically name them Bass, Bass.1, Bass.2 ect.
Go to Import session data and select the desired tracks as Import as new... Are you sure all the plug in parameters are the same. If so you can just drag the regions up to the corrospnding tracks, otherwise you can use Snapshot Automation to minimilize your Plugin usage. |
