Meter won't Budge - despite protests

the meter on my audio tracks stays in the yellow zone and can't record anything through direct input!? It worked yesterday, does anyone know why this may be happening?

even if nothing is pluged into my mbox, the second I record enable the track the meter jumps to yellow. I've tried creating new sessions and restarting pro tools, but no luck. The only thing that changed since yesterday is I added BFD lite as a plugin, which I just removed from the plugin folder in pro tools. That didn't work either.

Any help?

Sounds like a possible feedback loop of some sort? Double check your signal flow...

Hey,

I had that same issue and I was using BFD lite alot right before it happened - all I did was shut it down and unplug everything, and shut down the mac... got some coffee and started everything back up again. New session, new template... should work fine after... good luck!

shut down took a break (minus the coffee though), still same issue - anything else you did? (maybe I should try some coffee:)
