Strip silence bug work-around
I'm just about to upgrade out of 6.4cs9 and I remembered this work-around I better share before I forget.
Symptoms: In PTLE 6.4cs9 PC. When you try to use the fine adjust (hold Ctrl and click) on the Min. Strip Duration, Region Start or Region End, the button/value freaks out and can't decide where it should be. so fine adjust ends up being useless. I bet there is a bad line of code creating an infinite loop. I found that by first Ctrl clicking once on the button, then with Ctrl still held down, click and hold on the area just to the right of the button bar you can fine adjust. Since the cursor is not over the button bar the code doesn't fight between the cursor poition and the fine adjust position. I don't know if this is a problem with any other versions. I didn't have it in 5.3 Hope this helps.
