AXX to TDM plugin translation
Let's say that predubs for a film project were mixed on an PT10 HDX system using standard Avid AAX plugins, such as EQ3, and the session then saved in an earlier PT version for final mixing on a dub stage that is still using TDM systems. Assuming that there are TDM versions of all the plugins, theoretically, how well would the processing and automation translate?
I realize that since the HDX cards are not yet available, there probably isn't a lot of first hand knowledge about this, but I'm hoping that some of the hardware beta testers who checked out the HDX card would be able to offer some insight.

Re: AXX to TDM plugin translation
As long as the plugins exist as TDM or RTAS, all automation should be just fine. I've had no problems.
