HDX in TB Chassi works with Mac Pro 2019

I just re-arranged my macs the other day and replaced my Mac Pro 2019 with a Mac Studio M4 in the music studio. The Mac Pro 2019 will be the new video editing machine...
However out of curiosity I just connected the Magma Expressbox 3T with a HDX card to the Mac Pro 2019 and lo and behold it worked as well as if it was mounted internally in PCE slots.
In the compatibility charts a HDX in TB chassi is not supported but obviously working. So just in case you wonder...HDX in TB chassi works with mac Pro 2019.

Indeed, there are several old TB2 Magma and Sonnet chassis products that simply haven't been tested (and won't be tested with newer machines) but in my experience work just fine.

So what’s the timeline of getting HDX in an Expansion-Chasis, plugged in to a MacStudio M4Max approved by Avid!?
There seems to be no official documentation on this other then some anecdotal use cases. I was under the impression that 2025.6 was going to address these issues but there is nothing in the documentation that would support that.
The M2Max MacStudio is approved but is now 2 years old. Will it be in the next Protools update and when will that be?! Another 8 months? At which point Apple will have released the M5.
