I have noticed some issues with this as well:
PT 2025.6, Video Sync 5 (on same computer), and also tested h.264 and DNxHD36 in Avid video engine. Working on a short film and nudging midi notes by frames left or right does not change the curser position/frame position of the video. It doesn't need time to catch up. It simply doesn't move, which makes it impossible to put a midi note on a particular frame. Also, in midi, changing the selection of the midi note via the left and right cursor keys on the keyboard does not change the cursor position and therefor show where the cursor should be in relationship to the frame. I'm not having nudging issues with audio. However, when trimming an audio clip I notice the video doesn't follow where the trim tool position is in the timeline. - **** EDIT - I was incorrect here. Trimming is fine. All these are showstoppers for my workflow. Pro Tools 24.10.2 did not have these issues at all. Last edited by ryst; 07-05-2025 at 06:33 PM. |
