Cool Programing question: Axiom pro 61

Are the M-Audio Axiom keyboards programable and work with the REAPER DAW? I have the Axiom Pro 61 with Hyper Control. Hyper Control does not seem to be recognized by Reaper.
Can the "Hyper Control" be disabled on the Axiom Pro 61 keyboard? Hyper control works great with Pro Tools, but in addition, I would like to use the Axiom Pro 61 with REAPER, using it for various functions, such as transport controls, volume of tracks, etc.
Here is what is working currently on the Axiom Pro 61
In Reaper Preferences:
Axiom Pro 61 USB A input is enabled
Axiom Pro 61 MIDI output is enabled
On the Axiom Pro 61:
The 8 Pads (Group P) trigger notes on the virtual instrument that is currently record enabled
F1 Key functions as a start/pause (transport)
F2 Key functions as a Zoom out
F3 Key functions as a Fast Forward (transport)
The Pitch Bend Wheel works on the current virtual instrument that is record enabled
S9 slider controls Volume of the Master and Current record enabled track

If these aspects/controllers of the Axiom Pro 61 are working in Reaper DAW, it must be possible to program the other key groups as well? How can the Axiom keyboard be programmed? (Is it the Enigma program that M-Audio supports?) Please advise and thank you.

you might get more help with your reaper questions on a reaper forum

there was a thread recently about turning off hypercontrol. hypercontrol is not used with reaper, only PT, Cubase and Logic i think.. (not sure)

Hypercontrol: "Axiom Pro User Guide" page 25:
When the parameter is set to “Transport,” HyperControl functionality only applies to the transport controls while the remainder of the controls (knobs, F-Keys, sliders, etc.) function like a typical MIDI controller. This is useful for users who wish to create their own Axiom Pro patches, but still require transport controls that automatically map to the software within your computer
Personally, i did not find how to manage Axiom Pro from Enigma, but it is not a problem. Axiom Pro programming easy and smart.
REAPER: Reaper has limited Control Surface support, it was a preset for BCR2000 to emulate HUI; probably it can be ported on Axiom Pro. See REAPER's forum...

i finally got my axiom pro and i am able to use it with FLstudio without problems, (though the transport doesn't work)

i think the hypercontrol info comes in on a different channel than USB A in so it doesnt matter

Transport Mode is required and I'd imagine mapped as the original Axiom however saved as an Axiom Pro Patch.

Filo,

I have minimal experience mapping MIDI keyboards.. how would I go about mapping my Axiom Pro patch as an original Axiom patch?

Do you have any links or resources/guides that could bring me up to speed on mapping MIDI keys?

If I was to map out Reaper for the Axiom Pro, I'd head to the M-Audio Keyboard forum where you'd most likely find like minded people.

I've been there, those forums are fairly ghost townish compared to DUC, Gearslutz and Reaper forums. :/

But I'll post a thread anyhow, thanks Filo.
