Default Rode NTK VS. RODE K2 Which better for male vocals?

Hi, I'm thinking about investing in another mic. I currently have a Groove Tubes GT55 and I'm not so sure I like the way my vocals sound in it. Which is why I'm looking into another mic.

I've read a lot of good things about Rode mics and it seems to boil down to two of them that I like.

Does anybody know which mic is better for male vocals??
I'm comparing the Rode NTK VS the Rode K2..

I have a Rode NTK so I know how it sounds. A friend of mine with a studio also has an NTK and auditioned the K2. He said the K2 is "marginally better" than the NTK, but he also told me that the difference wasn't worth it for me to trade in my NTK for a K2. Bottom line is, if you like the NTK and have no need of an infinitely variable pattern, just get the NTK.

Cheers,

I haven't heard the K2 but the NT2 is great on male vocals. For lead vocals it has a nice sound that is present in the mix. I use the NTK on the backround vocal, smooths them out and lets them sit a bit back in the mix.
