Do you have an Mbox and a Mac?

There was some issue with the driver that some of the Mbox appears as a new item and as such the working Mbox is a new I/O....or the computer thinks so.

Same here on both our systems (see below) and everytime we open PTHD10/11 we get the window saying some paths have been deactivated etc etc etc. Over write session on and off, no difference..

Annoying as Hell

Back when I was running PT LE 8 with the 002 Rack I used to get this same message every time I booted up PT. I upgraded several months ago and changed my interface to an Apogee Duet 2. No difference. Whether I'm running PT 10 or PT 11, it's still always the same at the start of every session, telling me that some paths have "been made inactive because they could not be assigned to existing path definitions" and asking if I want a "detailed report".

The detailed report: Missing Stems
"The input path "A 1-2" was made inactive because its stem is missing."

Am wondering why I would encounter this with both the 002 Rack and the Apogee Duet?

That's the issue.

Check under Audio MIDI - in the MIDI window you'll see numerous greyed-out Mbox icons....and finally the LAST real one, as if the Mbox reloads and starts new every time you start the Mac.

I remove the unused icons every so often, but it still does the I/O dialog box every time I restart the computer.

I have the same issue whenever I open a project in PT 10 & 11. I'm running Windows 7. Very frustrating!

Seeing this since I installed 11.1.1 every time I load a session, even though I've checked my IO and resaved.

Ditto what Trailerman says. This has been happening to me every time I open a session since I installed the latest PT 11 update. VERY irritating, to say the least.
