Default Help Identifying Nubus Cards

I recently got a Digidesign 12-slot Nubus Chassis and need help identifying the cards. What are the other cards aside from the SC (?) up front?

The card in slot 1 has an interface cable connected, but looks like it also has a SCSI port.

I don't want to take them out of their slots just yet and was wondering if anyone can identify these cards by looking at them.

Default Re: Help Identifying Nubus Cards

That's a (1) Disk I/O; (4) DSP Farm Cards, Sample Cell II TDM rig. Order is correct – do not rearrange cards. The ribbon cable looks correct and yes, it fine to just lay there.
You'll only have 8 channels of I/O with either a 888/16, 882/16, or ADAT Bridge.

Aside from missing the modern features, these still rock and will run under TDM in Logic Audio 2.5 - 3.5. Tons of records where made with these.

Plugins will be limited however, many engineers agree mixing with DSP processing is still a superior sound-quality even when compared to current 64 bit native-systems. The stock Digi Plugins where developed by Colin McDowell, founder of McDSP.

Here's a possible source for a hard drive: This was standard fare: External 9GB 10K U320 SCSI Hard Drive Kit. Send a picture of the SCSI Pin-type to the company and don't forget the terminator. You may need a formatting utility depending on the operating system. Pro Tools 3.0 TDM didn't like the Mac Disk-Utility to format the audio drive when it was released (Mac OS 7.5.1 – 8.2?).
