Small video playback issue
Whenever I hit cmd+s to save the session during playback, the video playback freezes briefly. I know this wasn't the case with PT8.
It's not that big of a deal, but it looks bad when I have customers around. Since I got used to saving my sessions as frequently as I breathe, this is kind of an annoyance. Not a show stopper, but resolving this would make me a bit happier. I got a separate disk for my video files, so no room for optimization here...

Re: Small video playback issue
I have the same issue, it freezes briefly every time it auto saves, and when you're editing, that is really annoying. Problem is I'm used to having auto save every 3mins, so you can imagine the annoyance it causes!
I was about to buy some more RAM to see if that would help, but you already have 4gb more than me, so maybe it wont help (I have pretty much got exactly the same setup Mac wise) Please fix it Mr Avid / Protools, because as already mentioned, PT8 didn't have that problem. |
