Default Strike - Installing from HD

OK, I've re-bought Strike and decided to give it a try again. I bought from a fellow in Chicago and in an effort to save a bit of time and postage,(I live in Australia now), I d/l'ed all of the files from both DVD's from his server. (and before we go there, YES I have an iLok license AND a purchase of the added content from Digi. Nothing fishy going on here).

Is there a way to get Strike to install from the hd? I can get it to install the first three .big files (I assume are program), but not the last three, (again, assuming they are content). After the first three install, I get asked to select a location for Strike and select it. Then it goes looking for disk 2.

Anyone have any suggestions? It will take about two weeks to get the disks here from Chicago and I'd really like to be using Strike.

Many thanks!

Did you download a disk image or two or maybe just a zipped archive of the files? If the former then I'll guess there's no reason you couldn't burn a DVD/CD of the images and then proceed with an installation as if you had the "real" disks.

Not an image.. that would have been easier. Just the files. I think I just need to recreate the file structure and dvd names of the original.

I'll end up having to get the originals but it would have been nice to use now.

Thanks.

It's all sorted... All I had to do was copy the 3 .big content file into the Strike program directory. It all seems to work peachy right now.

Thanks again.
