Recording with ATA
Hi folks,
Anybody out there using ATA for delay compensation, who can tell me if it works during tracking as well. Or do I have to bypass it if I want to record something? Audio and Midi... Best, Fredrik |

Re: Recording with ATA
It is mixing only. Bypass during tracking.

Re: Recording with ATA
I see no reason to use it during recording. As it is intented to correct latencies inside the software, in a recording situation, it is creating latency, so I think you should not use it.

Re: Recording with ATA
ATA can be used to compensate latency of outboard gear during tracking. e.g. I/O latency. but it´s not good for live-recording.
