Default Further to PT-296357

I actually think there is a memory leak in
GetTrackList.

I am using this command to poll protools. When i disable the call, my memory is stable. As soon as I enable the call, the memory starts to climb.

Checking on this and will get back to you in a bit.

Thanks!

I also made a couple of SDK changes that I'm testing now. Will advise if I have a positive update.

I've started a support case for you under case 04833071 so we can further investigate on this. I'll update you this week via the support case Email.

Thanks!

Is it ok if I send you my findings also? I've adjusted some sdk code and that has helped greatly. I just dont want to post code in here if that is not appropriate.

The memory leak speed is dependent on how many tracks in the project. If you create a project with 500 tracks to test you should see a memory leak of 1 - 2 MB per second when polling at around 300ms

I believe the issue is to do with the rsp because if i make that static then the memory leak stops....but the command then becomes non functioning. Please keep me informed as this is the last hurdle I need to overcome to finish my app.

Cheers

No improvements. I've coded a work around so my app stops polling after a period of user inactivity but this is only going to be a temporary solution until you are able to fix the memory leak in the sdk.
