M-Audio Firewire Series Input Levels
What are the line input levels for the M-Audio Firewire series? I've heard that they are consumer (-10 dbv) and that a pro line level input (+4 dbv) is too hot.
The documentation is silent on the subject, and I haven't been able to get an answer in the M-Audio forums, so I thought I'd try here. |

Re: M-Audio Firewire Series Input Levels
From what I'm reading, they're all pro level (+4).
For instance, the 2626 lists a max input of 19.6dBu, which is about 7.5 volts, well above the reference level of 1.223 volts at +4. The ProFire 610 is listed at 16.xdBu...so not much different. |

The 410 seems to be the exception with all inputs being -10. The 610 instrument inputs are -10, but the line inputs are +4. |
