I believe the way most people change IRQ settings is by physically moving the card.
Since you have no other PCI slots, you would have to shuffle the cards around. |

I just found out my network card, 001, and my video card are sharing the same IRQ. Windows says there's no conflict because of the IRQ steering but Pro Tools often locks up on me or my pointer will freeze up. I have no other PCI slots available and windows says I can't change the settings. Yes I do disable the network card but I obviously can't disable my video card. Any ideas from anyone on changing IRQ settings?

If you are still having problems, there are potentially two ways of getting Windows to assign another IRQ to the Digi001:
-Some BIOS screens allow you to manually assign IRQ's to PCI slots. -Open the System Control Panel>Device Mgr>Sound, Video and Game Controllers>Digidesign Digi001>Properties>Resources window. Choose Set Configuration Manually, disable the "Set Configuration Manually" checkbox and restart Windows. Brent |
