Looks like everyone's enjoying their macbooks - but before I go out and grab one I just want to make sure the fan noise isn't too bad for recording purposes.
I'm currently on an old TiBook G4 1Ghz and the fan runs fine for my recording needs. Please reassure me that all will be fine so I can go shopping, thanks! J |

I think the fan noise has been solved with firmware up dates, it seemed to be most prominent with the early production models. My Macbook (late spring 2006) has been virtually silent. The increase in power is way worth it.
