192 I/O channels 7&8 led and digital clicking
I just noticed today from the flickering LEDs on both channels 7 and 8 of my 192 I/O that a digital “clicking” noise was present. I checked all connections, ran DigiTest, etc but no go. I finally went into Hardware Setup and set both channels 7 & 8 to “none” which solved the flashing LEDs.
Anyone know what’s causing this and if there’s a fix?

Hi, Most likely those 2 channels 7-8 were assigned as digital inputs before you re-assigned them to none. If there was no digital device connected or no clocking connected it will cause what you experienced. Chris

Re: 192 I/O channels 7&8 led and digital clicking
Yes, in Hardware setup. Its not overly intuitive so plan on fussing with it for an afternoon. Once you do get it going, take some screen shots so you can have a record for future use(most times, trashing prefs will default these settings, making you redo the changes). For me, it got very confusing with pairs of 192 IO and HD IO boxes, each using both analog and digital. Saving the screen shots saved me lots of messing around after I got things working(which took me a good 2 hours).
