Check for something else that says Bomb Factory. Protools will install "Free Bomb Factory Pluggins" which you do not need to be authorized and you should not uninstall. Maybe you installed some other Bomb Factory package but uninstalled the wrong one?

ProTools does not support VST but you can get Fxpansion VST to RTAS Adapter:

C:\Programs\Digidesign\Pro Tools

here you find a shortcut to your Plugins folder.
Go there and search the Plugin. Delete or move it to another location.

I hope this helps

thanks all,

I have tried to remove it manually from the pt folder but inside there is no "plugins folder" i only see some dll´s that i supposed that have to be the plugins(and the names doesn´t match always with the plugins...).Anyway it doesn´t work...i think is a difficult way to remove a plugin..it has to be easier...
i would try again and tell you what happens....

thanks

Daniel, fabz gave you the wrong location. Plugins haven't been in that directory since version 5.3. Some plugins of "questionable origin" still mistakenly put them in that location, but since you're not talking about one of those, that is not the case.

The directory you are looking for is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins
There is a directory a level up called "Plug-Ins (Unused)" that you can move the *.dpm and *.dpm.rsr files.

It would help to know which bomb factory plug you're talking about. Brute force removal like we're talking about will work, but it's better to run the proper uninstaller.

This shortcut leads to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins
the only difference is that my way is easier to find...

There is no such shortcut on either of my systems; MPowered or LE.

Huhh???

there is a shortcut! At least on my 2 Computers... Strange, this is...

But the point is, you can't say i have cracked software on my system.
I know you know a lot about PT and are of big help for us here on the DUC but that was simply not ok.
Maybe i created the shortcuts myself somewhen (even though i can't remember) but i don't use any pirated plugins, that comment was plain sh*t.

So let's move on... peace, man!
