Use Pinch Mode on a Trackpad to zoom Edit Window

So the linked video does not explain how to setup pinch to zoom in edit window (like r and t)...? How to do it?

You have to use the BetterTouchTool utility app and assign the Pinch Gesture to those key commands. You can see the screenshot in the lower-left corner

I know this thread is very old - but I figured I would post an update - after downloading the above software - the pinch zoom was like pressing the the "R" or "T" button on keyboard - not a smooth type zoom.

DEFAULT TRACKPAD - Zoom w/keyboard modifiers
The zoom in/out does in fact with by default via keyboard modifiers.

Shift + Option + two finger slide up/down = zoom in/out horizontal
Shift + Option + two finger slide left/right = zoom in/out waveform vertical

I haven't figured out the track height + trackpad - that would be nice. IF someone knows that modifier combo please share...
