Cannot initialize Digi 003 Console as Audio Device!

I'm experiencing troubles when trying to use a Digi 003. Here is my detailed problem:

- When trying to select Digi 003 FW for playback engine, it freezes Pro Tools, followed by an error: "The selected audio device could not be initialized. Please choose another audio device" - if I try to choose it again, the same happens(tried it 4 times in a row);
- Cannot playback any sounds in Windows, nor Test any of it's outputs or inputs in any windows application(tried Ableton Live, Chrome, Voicemeeter, Windows Voice Recorder)

I've downloaded the drivers from Avid website, but while looking in device manager, I spotted something that I think is wrong. If I look the driver version that is being used, it says "Driver Version: 9.0.8.3600"

But i've installed driver version 9.0.6. directly from Avid's website! I also tried an earlier driver version, 9.0.5, but it left my computer REALLY sluggish while the digi 003 was connected.

Pro Tools 2023.12.1 - Trial version (Planning to buy studio perpetual license)
Secondhand Digidesign Digi 003 Console - 1.5m FW400-FW400 cable
