Default Split MIXER window Excel style..

Hey Avid....

The MIXER window would benefit having a split screen like Excel does:
I could lock, for example, the submasters+masters on the right and have all the other tracks scroll independently (see pic, but imagine the division vertically instead of horizontally)

The request has always been for the edit window to have freeze panes/split windows (horizontally). This is the first I've seen of a request for vertical split pane on the mix window.

On Eucon, you can do this for the surfaces (assign locked faders) with layouts (and on the S4/S6 you can do this further with actual separate banking/nudging like a true split mixer)

We've been asking for this for years. Dozens of applications, but for me, it would be so convenient to have a couple of frozen tracks at the top, showing me I'm in re-record.
