Default Gradual EQ Fade Effect

Hi All,

I am new to this forum and haven't been using ProTools for too long, although I know the basics.

Is there a way of gradually EQ'ing a sound clip over a period of about 1 minute. Basically I want to slowly take out all the top end from a sound clip until only the low end is left.

I am using Protools 11 Academic Version

Thank you in advance

Thanks for replying, I have tried playing around with automation with volume however I am unsure how to apply that to an effect… any elaboration would be really useful, thanks

You need to enable automation on the plugin you wish to automate. Then you will find the automation lane for whatever you enabled. It is not available by default.

You need to automate a parameter of the EQ, not the volume. Plugin automation is on page 1001 of the ProTools 11 reference guide. Better answered there than here.
