Default Older 882 interface has problems?

I have been having some problems with my PTIII rig. I have one 882 interface. I can record into the device fine but on playback one side is not playing back as loud. This seems to happen on channels 1,3,5,7. I have changed chords and have tried different pairs of outputs and still have a problem. Is this something going out on the 882 converters? I am going to continue to troubleshoot using a different mixer and chords.
