Default Can't install Pro Tools LE - Insert disc but no option to install

I just bought a brand new MBox 2 Mini with Pro Tools LE. When I put the Pro Tools disc in to install it, nothing happens. A dialog box pops up asking what I want to do with the disc, offering options such as importing pictures, so I choose to explore the disc. When I open the Pro Tools LE Installation folder there is no Setup.exe or other type of installation file. I have searched all of the other folders as well, but nowhere can I find a way to install.

I have done all of the user optimization and my system should be compatible.

Dell Studio 15 Laptop
32 bit Windows Vista Home Premium SP1
Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHZ processor
3GB RAM
250GB free space

I spent an hour on the phone with Dell customer service and they had remote access to my computer where they confirmed that my CD drive and other hardware is all working properly.

Has anyone else had this issue and can help? I just want to be jamming! Thanks.

Some options; Go back to the dealer and give them the install disk and tell them its a bad disk(so maybe they will give you another one). Or register the software(you must do this anyway at some point). This process will do 2 things. It will get you the authorization code(needed to unlock the program) and a MyAvid account, which will give you access to a downloadable version of PT8, along with the updates that are available.

Did Dell check the firmware of your optical reader? Is it up to date?

What version of Pro Tools is on the disk?

The Pro Tools LE version is 8. The guy from Dell was on my computer and checked my disc drive and said everything was in perfect working order.

Since I haven't installed pro tools or used the registration code, is Pro Tools returnable? I'm just a bit apprehensive if I'm already having a problem installing it that I may have more issues down the road and it might not be worth it.
