Default 100 foot digilink cable

Hi Friends, Is anyone here rocking 100 foot digilink cables and are they fine? I read somewhere that they are not reliable @ 192k, is that a thing? I am not a 192 guy personally, but could be an issue for future client compatibility. TIA!

Check the manual on this. IIRC, the 100' cable only supports 96K and lower.

i have one and yes it is only up to 96k. The cable is thick as a finger due to extra shielding.

yup, 96k or lower

(but, think of it this way... the older cable with the spring-loaded clips for the Digi 192 only allowed 48k for the 100ft. So some progress!)

Digilink for normal (old) size and small (new) size are electrically identical. You must be talking about MIX-era cables, but then everything was limited to 48k.

Ah. Thanks for the correction. It was the 200ft cable (we had to use that to wire across a control room once.) Don't know if they make it any more but it was limited to 48k
