Same here (now 2022.6, before also on 2022.5 and I think but am not sure also on 2022.4)

The workaround of clicking the +/- buttons works though ! Thanks Pinball for that !!!

I'm on Monterey / M1 Macbook Pro 16" Max

I'm running version 2022.6.0 on an iMac and have had a blank Universe view showing on open sessions. I think it started in 2022.4.0 but I don't use Universe much. I noticed that if I did a full disable on a plug-in that the Universe would re-repopulate. I first noticed that when I disabled EZdrummer 3 because of playback problems. I just did a test by simply adding an EQ plug to a random channel and Universe repopulated.

Any idea if 2022.7 still carries this bug?

Have you updated?

I haven't updated to .7 yet. I did update to .6 - and then got cornered into also updating to Monterey, which created a crop of other graphics related quirks. This includes the timeline occasionally not updating in real time when in record for several minutes, for instance, giving the unnerving impression that it's dropped out of record when in fact it hasn't.

I am going to move to .7 soon but I have a couple of key projects I want to complete before I risk it.

The release notes on fixes do not contain the Universe problem being solved.

Anyway there are indeed quite a bunch of GUI / graphics issues being stated as being solved.....so maybe an update to .7 is a good step....but you never know.....;-)

Bug is still alive and well in 2022.7.0

The workaround of clicking the +/- buttons still works though. Cheers Pinball for that.

I've just upgraded to 2022.7 and can confirm that the Universe bug still exists....

I upgraded to 2022.7 a few days ago and I'm still getting an empty Universe when I open sessions. I'm on an iMac running macOS 12.5. My workaround has been to fully disable (Control + Command + Click) any plugin, or add a new plugin to a track. The Universe then works right until I open a new session.

Ooh yes - so it does. Nice quick way to do it!
