Default Problem with the Video Engine

Hello everyone.
My Video Engine is not working, and I can't find out why.
I'm using Pro Tools 2020.12, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Pro Tools, the Video Engine, the Codecs...

I have 2 error messages ; when I try to import video, Pro Tools says "Unable to link to file X due to either a missing CODEC or the file may be unsupported."
The second error message is "The video engine had an unrecoverable error and will now reinitialize."
I tried importing video with different CODECS, DNxHD and ProRes, as well as different types of video files (.mov, .avi and .mxf).

I don't know what to do, and I have a school project to finish in 2 weeks which needs the Video Engine.
Thank you in advance for any help !

Try removing any old videos you may have imported from the session. If they’re not on the timeline, remove them from the sessions clip list. Once you e removed all the video files, save and close the session. Restart Pro Tools and import your most recent video file. I recommend staying with the DNXHD codec but make sure you’ve installed the Avid Codecs on your system.

You’ll find the Avid Codecs LE package here

https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/ar...nload/en423319

Also, you don’t state what your system specs are so it’s a little hard to determine if there are any system incompatibilities.

I tried removing old videos, even started a fresh session, it didn't change anything. I did install the Codecs, so that's good...
Sorry I forgot about the system specs : I'm on windows 10 Home, and i have an Intel core i7 6700K, a NVIDIA GTX1070, 8Go of RAM.
I know the RAM seems pretty low, but the video used to work before on my PC...
I completely reset my PC about 2 months ago, and I think it's since then that it doesn't work anymore. Maybe some driver or something is missing since I reset the computer ?
Thanks for your answer by the way, it's very appreciated !

Is your video in a folder with any illegal characters or unusual characters. I've had that error when there is a / or %@ type symbols in any of the folders that contain the file. Can you import a video from another project or your desktop still?

Nope, no weird characters in the folder's name or anything.
I can't import video at all in Pro Tools.
I tried to import video in Ableton Live as well, and it didn't work. I think it's related to a software problem on my PC, but I don't know why. Is it something missing maybe ?
