Default how do u split a PT session for CD burning/mp3s?

I have an hour long PT session (just a two track stereo mix) of a singer/songwriter and wanted to know the easiest way to split the hour performace up (by song) for easy CD burning (creating multiple .wav files).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Keith

well the easiest way is to use an editing program like Sound forge or Wavelab. but you could just bounce to disc and burn the whole file to CD if its a Live performance.

But if you have to use PT and u reaaly need separate tracks. you are going to have to separate the songs, then drag & Drop onto separate tracks(EDIT WINDOW). highlight one track(audio file) and BTD, repeat for each song. kinda long process.

gotcha...yeah, probably easier to port to another app..
I just purchased ACID, so maybe that might be a better option.
I'll look at the documentation.

thanks again!

You could seperately bounce each individual song in the hour long session by highlighting the song before bouncing. That way you'd have a wave file on disk for each song.

Cd Architect is another option.
It allows you to assign track markers anywhere you wish in a continuous wav file.
