Default I/O and driver settings change everytime Grrr!

Why is it that every time I open Pro Tools or a Pro tools session, the I/O settings have changed, or the driver has changed. I do have a few options as far as audio I/O drivers are concerned, but I chose one... and I expect it to be the default. This is really annoying. (10.6.7, PT9.0.3)

Drivers concerned

RME FF800 (preferred)
RME Babyface (2nd preferred when the FF800 is off doing something else)

then there's all the 'Built-in' options +

Soundflower
Pro Tools Aggregate
Blackmagic Audio x 2 (which I never use for audio.. this is my display card for vision)
RigKontrol 3 (Native Instruments guitar controller)

I've never chosen any of these 'other' drivers.... so what gives!?

If anyone could enlighten me on why, everytime I open a session it tells me the i/o setup has changed, when it never has, I'll buy ya a beer!

Did you ever get a solution to this? I have the same problem with PT 10 on Lion

Hi there,
I still have this issue from time to time, however, I've just learned to live with it.

Look at the check box in the IO setup that allows sessions to overwrite IO. UN-check it
