Tech need to run protools on a laptop computer
I have PT 7.4 running on my PC but Im buying a laptop to use specifically with this protools system running on an mBox2. And I have an Mbox for backup.
A friend told me that a 10K rpm HDD is highly recommended. But besides that, I dont know what technical specs to look for on this laptop Im getting. Can anyone tell me what are the tech specs needed to run protools decently on a laptop? I dont want anything fancy, but I do need one that can perform well. Or better yet, could recommend laptops that have worked well for you with protools?? I have a budget of aprox. $900. Last edited by Amnesiac; 01-23-2009 at 08:38 PM. Reason: Getting more specific.
