Unable To Find Audio Interface
Hi!
I'm getting the "Unable To Find Audio Interface" error on my new Mac Pro. I have a new PCIe HD Accel-3 cross-grade into a Mac Pro 3.2 Harpertown, 32gb apple ram and a 96 i/o. PT 7.4.1 software. The Primary Port plug on 96 i/o is plugged into lowest slot (Accel core.) on the Mac Pro (Slot 2). Flex cables are A to B from slot 2 to 3, then 3 to 4. Cards test ok in digitest, yet I cannot get PT to see the i/o. I still have my old Accel-3 PCI cards in a G5. When I connect the i/o to the accel core on the G5, it works fine. I'll take it down to HD 1 and try again, but in the meantime is there anything else I can do? Thanks in advance for your help. Rubicon |

Re: Unable To Find Audio Interface
I can't be sure from your post, but it sounds like you might have your flex cables hooked up backwards. They should go from port B of the core to port A of the accel card.

Re: Unable To Find Audio Interface
Hi Shawn!
Thanks for coming to my rescue after hours. Yes, it is B to A. We'll be drinking good champagne in the jacuzzi tonight! Rubicon |
