Target
This is probably a dumb question, but what is the little target icon for under rtas in an rtas plugin? Thanks

Re: Target
If you click on the target, that plug-in window stays open when you select another. Otherwise, the next plug-in window replaces the current one when selected.

Re: Target
I've been using pro tools for years now and I never knew that. Thanks. I don't think it was a dumb question. I've been opening new inserts while holding down the shift key, it does the same thing, but I kind of like this "target" way.

Re: Target
This is a side-effect of the button's true function. From the manual (doesn't anybody look at manuals?):
Target Button When multiple Plug-In windows are open, clicking this button selects that plugin as the target for any computer keyboard commands.
