Crashes, 96K recording

Hey thanks for checking.

Removing all 3rd party had me recording which was the first problem.

Sweeping frequencies and PT crashing using EQ7 and Channel Strip with nothing but BX_Meter additionally installed has not been properly trouble shooted. I also got the same behavior in bx-Digital eq v3 last night on a mastering session..

So I would think that if I can track down what plug in s were downstream from that eq sweep (since it happened on 3 different Eq's) I may be able to find the culprit..

The last after the recording project completed I went straight into a couple mix sessions and had to just put back all the plug ins for these songs.

Overall, I was able to work, albeit causously.

I am going to try and check out the recording issue this morning.

plug in sweep crash just happened with only stock plug ins using eq7 and BX-Meter installed (as before) then again with ALL 3rd party and NO BX_meter..

Ok so I'll keep tracking it down. I've sent 3 or 4 crash reports... Also sent to Plug in alliance.

Do you have the last bx version installed ?

When you said NO bx meter , you mean without it * present * in PT plugins folder right ?

Yes latest from the web site as I mentioned earlier it was a clean fresh install 7 days ago now. all freshly downloaded plug ins

and yes not in plug in folder. prefs trashed. com.avid.protools prefs as well as the pro tools folder in the avid folder (double checked the locatiojn to do it manually as I normallt use pref trasher thing utility.)

Ok understood. The last bx meter version is 1.8.1 btw .
