Re: Raise Your Level HD Giveaway
It was only open to folks in the US so I didn't even get to enter. Itstinks when you find out you've lost even before you enter...

Re: Raise Your Level HD Giveaway
I'm also looking for the winner (I was lucky enough to enter from the UK), although the wording's vague -
"For the name of the prize winner, available no later than December 1, 2009, visit Sponsor’s website at http://www.digidesign.com/raiseyourlevel-winner" This must mean that the name of the prize winner is not available any more as it's now later than Dec 1...? On a wholly unrelated and purely speculative topic, is it illegal in California to run contests where a prize is promised but never awarded? Obviously here the prize must have been awarded - it's just that the publicity department hasn't announced anything, and the link given in the rules doesn't give the promised information. Obviously. |

Still no winner announced? Was this a real contest? |

Re: Raise Your Level HD Giveaway
I think the winner asked for an LE system instead.

Re: Raise Your Level HD Giveaway
Often times companies will reserve the right to withhold any give-away prizes, although I think it is uncommon.
Perhaps, due to the economic downturn, Digi decided to scratch the contest to try to reduce its (potential) losses.

Re: Raise Your Level HD Giveaway
If the UK was allowed in, why not Australia or any one else? You're still only giving one system away.
Congrats to the winner however... He sure seems to be unusually lucky.
