Virtual Drumming
Coming from GarageBand, on Mac, I've been using "musical typing." It allows you to load a virtual drum kit and use the keyboard as a controller, i.e. hitting the "A" key for the kick, "D" for snare, etc. and display it as a midi track. Is there something included w the PT8 LE software, or a free plugin that does something similar?
Thanks, Adam |

Re: Virtual Drumming
Nope. If you want to tap parts in, get one of the small(and inexpensive) trigger pad units. They range in price from about $50(Korg NanoPad) on up to $500-600 for Maschine. A used M-Audio Trigger Finger would likely be under $100 and I loved mine(but had issues when I moved to Windows 7). If you have an iPad, there are solutions there as well.
