Can you open pt7 files in 6.4 somehow? or export?
Please help! Working on Pt7 in one studio, need to work in another studio in another city that only has 6.4 (and wont upgrade). Is there any way to take my session files there?
Thanks |

Re: Can you open pt7 files in 6.4 somehow? or export?
Go to "File" -> "Save Copy In." Then, when the window appears, select the pulldown menu titled "Session Format," and pick "Pro Tools 5.1 -> 6.9 Session." Me personally, I'd pick a new location to save your session copy in and pick the tab under the field "Items To Copy" called "All Audio Files." From there, everything you select should be selected/altered to your liking.
Make sense? -K
