This might be an obvious question, but does your PC specs meet the Digi supported requirements?

How about USB devices, because they have caused the Blue Screen for me before.

It couldn't hurt to reinstall Protools.

Before you launch PTLE, press ctrl-alt-del and see what else is running. There is probably something in there that is causing a conflict. List everything here and I can help you turn things off.

The RAM you have should be enough to open PRO TOOLS LE. Make sure you don't have any USB devices attached. Disable also the Network card. Don't use antivirus software. Disable all the Power Management Options in Windows. Check also the Monitor Resolution and the Video Card if is working properly. Sometimes this kind of errors may come from video card settings.
One last thing. Make sure you boot up Windows before attaching firewire devices like digi 002 and firewire Hard Drives. Firewire Devices should come last in the boot up sequence.

Hello,

You may want to also check for an IRQ conflict and try disabling any Sound Blaster or other audio hardware.

Hello everyone i found the problem so let me add a helpful new pro tools tip that might be useful to you someday (I right clicked on the LE icon went to properties and then the compatibility tab and clicked the button "Disable visual themes" and it works now.
