Default Export MIDI Without General MIDI assignments

Hey Everyone,

I tried to export MIDI from PT (type 1) and import it into Digital Performer, but the General MIDI assignments within Digital Performer prevent from using my own voice assignments. I am able to to change the voices before playing, but as soon as I hit "play," they switch back. Is this an issue that can be resolved within PT or does the problem stem elsewhere?

Thanks for your help!
