Cursor filckering problem

Yep. Same here. Just upgraded to Pro Tools Studio 2022.12.0 and Ventura 13.0.1 and the cursor is constantly flickering between pointer and whatever tool I have selected. Especially problematic with the Smart Tool.

FYI a temporary fix is resizing the edit window after session load

I saw this mentioned in another post on here.
Until reloading PT, the cursor will stabilize and you can work easily again.
It would be nice not to have resize the window manually (even just a pixel or two then back again), but this workaround otherwise is sufficient.

Same here - flickering in Smart Tool. Just got new Mac Studio with Ventura already on it. Such a disappointment. I also had problems with not working. And then I saw a post on here somewhere that you have to make sure full keyboard access is not checked. If it’s checked that causes the problem. This board is the go to place that’s for sure!
