Default Snow Leopard

Pardon my rant, but why is Digi always so far behind the curve? It is probably just me, but releasing 8.01, 3 days after 10.6 is rolled out, does not bode well for getting a PT version that will work with Snow Leopard; at least any time in the near future. We have seen this before. Haven't they known for about a year what is coming down from Apple? I think it's pretty sad.

It is still not ready, mind you. It takes time for APPLE to iron out bugs that affect 3rd party prodycts. Wait until 10.6.3 at least, then begin the waiting game.

I just installed it on one of my non music computers and am floored by how much faster everything is.

Really looking forward to this OS when Digi gives the green light.

Bruce, what we've seen before is Apple introduce huge changes to the final build of an OS compared to the developer seeds.

From what I understand, Digidesign were all but ready to announce support for Leopard and then Apple threw a huge curveball in there.

I think it's very good that they want to test with the final builds first

What's the hurry with upgrading to Snow Leopard anyway? Do you really want to be messing around at such an early stage?

SL is nice, but not perfect. I'm getting some random hangs and pauses.

Digi is smart to wait. Relax Bruce.
