Please help!! Hooking up a Digi 001 to a Finalizer Express
I am trying to hook up my Digi 001 Pro Tools 6.4 to my Finalizer Express. Can someone please help me. It seems to be easy, but I just cant get it to work. I would like to record all of my tracks into my 001 and then go out digital SDIF to my Finalizer, master it, and then return it back via digital spdig to my 001 and finish.
Can someone please lay out the physical connections needed and the session settings and finalizer settings needed. Thanks, Brian Jones Digi001 Pro tools 6.4 Windows XP |

Re: Please help!! Hooking up a Digi 001 to a Finalizer Express
Sounds to me like you just described the hookup. Assign the SPDIF return to a new audio track and put it in record. As for finalizer settings, this isn't color by numbers. The settings depend entirely on what you want/need to do to the mix. No offense intended here, but this is why people pay for pro mastering. There are lots of threads and articles on mastering so do some searching and reading.
