Mac Pro 2019 + Lynx Aurora issues SOLVED!!!

We own two identical 2019 Mac Pro computers each with HDX cards connected to a Lynx Aurora(n) 32 channel converter.

We have had nothing but problems with this configuration (HDX card in slot 5 as recommended) mainly the computer randomly not recognizing the Aurora as a pair of HD I/O units and there being duplicated busses and tracks upon playback, or whole sets of busses missing etc. Opening a 44.1 session after having a 96k session open almost always lead to a lockup of lack of audio and often more that one restart was required.

We know its not a bad piece of hardware because BOTH COMPUTERS do exactly the same thing. I have searched the internetßover and over for any info, AVID was no help.

I ordered a TB3 Sonnet Echo 1 and installed it today and POOF - all our problems are GONE.
