Default Auto-Tune 8 Blue Cat Crashing Pro Tools

I may have screwed things up here... just updated to Monterey OS 12.6, and Pro Tools 2022.9, and now when I open the Auto-Tune plug in, as well as Blue Cat Axiom, it crashes my session. I've re-installed both Auto-Tune and Pro Tools, still no love...

Help? Not very savvy here...

I thought it was Blue Cat Patchwork (not Axiom) that lets you use VST / AU in Pro Tools?

Is it up to date or have you missed any updates from Blue Cat?

have you tried loading Autotune in the free Waves Studio Rack? What version of Autotune are you trying to open?

I've been using Axiom as an AAX for a few years now... haven't seen any updates, but will look again. Same for Auto Tune 8 - worked great until I updated Pro Tools and the OS.

For now... trying to learn Melodyne... thanks.

sorry I completely misunderstood your post by thinking you were trying to load a VST version of Autotune within Pro Tools 2022.9 - so please ignore my previous post completely!

Regarding Blue Cat Axiom I'd check if you have the latest version installed or otherwise file a support case with the manufacturer.

Regarding Autotune 8 I can see if it runs on my system, though I've bit the bullet and upgraded to 9 (Pro & Hybrid) in the meantime.

If you were using Autotune in graphic mode then Melodyne can be a very good substitute, assuming you have at least the "assistant" version of Melodyne.

I still rely on Autotune for quick real-time processing and sometimes even use them in tandem: first insert Melodyne, second insert Autotune.
