Digital TV Out into Avid I/O
I'm trying to run my TVs Digital Output (Opitical) to my ADAT inputs only HDI/O to easily use my Monitors (5.1) with my TV. I understand that the signal is encoded and I need a converter. Does anyone know of a converter that has Optical input and ADAT Output? Every converter seems to be Digital to Analog. I'd even settle for Opitcal in and 6 SPIDIF outputs so I can feed my monitors digitally that way. Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Digital TV Out into Avid I/O
For conversion of the signal, I use this for $11
http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=2948 Now, If you mean Dolby Digital or DTS stream conversionr? You'll need Neyrinck Dolby Digital 2 decoder.
