Default HD Native vs vanilla differences

Hey guys

Quick question, can someone point me to a place where there's an updated list of the differences in software between HD and vanilla? Vanilla has so much of the HD stuff nowadays I don't actually know what the differences are anymore.

Also, can you buy HD version of the software without having to buy an AVID box?

Thanks for any input

Just look on the Avid website under Pro Tools and click the comparison tab. Yes, you can buy HD software without hardware.

Or search the Ref Guide for "HD only", gives nice explanations, too.

Yep, but even HDN don't get it all. Sidechain delay compensation, anyone...?

That, but it's a software feature easily released for native should Avid want it so...

You can purchase the HD software separately however it's quite expensive.
