EuControl 2023.6 Issue

Hi,

I have had strange behavior of EuControl 2023.6 on two PC systems.

( 2*S1, AVID Dock on HP Z4 with PT 2023.6, Ipad for AVID Control ) "Work"
( 2*ArtistMix, AVID Dock on 4790k with PT 2023.6 Androit Tablet for AVID Control) "Homeoffice"

Both Systems run "perfect" with EuControl 2022.12.1.34.
When I installed EuControl 2023.6 I did notice, that when I select a Track via Surface or via click in ProTools, that on (nearly-) all tracks the colored highlight, that indicates that they are beeing banked to EuCon, flashes about two times.
Even if these tracks are not "on the surface" at that moment ( not on the faders, not on the AVID Control Page of the Tablet )
This flashing lasts about 1-2 seconds.
While this seems to be a minor Issue on light projects, it disturbs the workflow on the less powerfull "Homeoffice" system with larger Projects that are CPU demanding.
It causes the system not to react to editing, and is triggered each time I place the edit curser to a different track ( to edit), so nearly every attempt to edit causes nearly a second of a sluggish system, that is unresponsive to edits.
If I turn EUCON off, this flashing and its side effects stop.
I reverted back to EuControl 2022.12.1.34 with the homeoffice system (not so easy on Android ) and it is now snappy again, no flashing, no lags.
Can anyone confirm such behavior?
I only have PC Systems to test available.

Have you applied the Windows Registry fix for know 2023.6 performance issues?

Thank you for the suggestion,

I did not try that yet, I did not see the relation to my problem, maybe because I did not understand the nature of the performance issues this Registry fix shall address. ( not native english speaking person here...)

I will give it a try next week, as I need my snappy system until the weekend...

So I tried with EuControl 23.6 and AVID Control 22.12.153 (to avoid the trouble to downgrade the tablet again).

The result was as before, the flashing colored highlights around the tracknames were there again.

I tried the Registry fix, it did not change the flashing, still there.

Is there someone on PC who might tell me, if he/she experiences the same behavior?

Shall I post a video or a gif sequence of the phenomenon?
