Default Is there a list of compatible interfaces for aggregate use??

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there a list of compatible interfaces for aggregate use to be found somewhere online??

I looked but cannot find such.

I have a fostex D2424LV for live recording and wish to input data from its 24 tracks via the 3 X adat outs into protools for a real time pass.

I am looking at the M audio Profire Lightbridge and the RME digiface for such.

Anyone know if they work?

I'm running PT 10.2.0 on snow leopard.

Thanks

Any device that Mac OS recognizes as a CoreAudio device is available for aggregate use.

The idea behind supporting CoreAudio is that AVID can avoid having to qualify the devices. If it supports CoreAudio, it should work. If it doesn't work, it's an issue between the OS and the device.

I have been using a ProFire Lightbridge since v8. I don't use it for 24 I/O, but I used it with v8 and currently use it with v9. It works as desired.

Not all deviceswill aggregate, even if they're Core Audio compliant. For example, the 002/003, Apogee Duet 1, and Ensemble will not.

You'll just need to do some research.

Also, it's not a very stable or effective method. If you need a certain amount of inputs/outputs, you will be much better off buying one interface that has the I/O that you need.
