Here's a BIG part of your problem if your system description is correct: you're running PT10 on an OSX version that can't handle it. There are many graphics problems and possibly other issues with PT10 and Yosemite.

And may I suggest getting the PT101 course book - it's great for newbies like yourself.

Yes, if you run PT10 you should be using Mountain Lion 10.8.5

Ok, so I can finally make some noise with my keys, thanks to all of you, yet to figure out the trigger pads but the volume is coming from my macbook speakers and is extremely low instead of the wireless speakers I have my computer hooked up to. How can I fix this?

Come on mate - you're lucky i'm still bothering to help you here.

Just google your issue.

I just did and got this result

Make sure your external speakers are connected to the mbox monitor outs as well.

Not to sound harsh - but do you know anything about the computer you are using? How it works and how to do certain things? As I and others have stated too many times to count - this is not plug and play software/hardware. You ARE going to have to become something of a computer geek and actually learn things for yourself. There's only so much we can do to help if you won't at least take a stab at helping yourself. I already gave you one source to buy: PT101 course book as it's excellent for newbies but does assume the user (you) knows something about their computer and how it works.
